With such an odd title, this competition surely was one to remember. Aaron Feinberg and Jeremy Townsend organized this event that brought out some of the best Oregon has to offer.

It was a beautiful hot sunny day August 6th in Santa Ana California where the 2011 Blader Cup all went down. Pro skaters and dedicated participants flocked from all around to condone in such a glorious event located on the historic 4th st. business marketplace in southern Orange County. The skater's busted their asses off all day for the top prize of $3000, but in the end only one pulled through and took the grand prize (Brian Aragon).
Isaac Larios has visited the Blading Cup 2011 in Santa Ana California yesterday to capture some of the world's best rollerbladers. Have fun skipping through the photos. Congrats to Brian Aragon for winning the competition. Edits of the comp will follow shortly.
It wasn't my first time in San Marino's Fardamatti Skatepark but it was my first competition there and I had so much fun! There was no pressure, it was just a session with all my homies!
Some of you may already have heard about Rollfest the annual gathering that brings polish rollerbladers together during one summer week at seaside resort Triocity. This year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of this crazy event which was special in every possible way. Since 2009 Rollfest was able to serve as a gathering for even more participants due to the Baltic Games festival, which is treated as the climax of the Rollfest. I can easily say that's the biggest and most prestigious skatepark contest throughout the year. With attendance of bladers as Alex Broskow, Erik Bailey, Fredrik Andersson, Alex Burston, Dre Powell, Nils Jansons, Mark Wojda, Fritz Peitzner, Josh Glowicki, Scott Quinn or Dominik Wagner just to name a few you can be sure to expect a show of highest levels!
Blake Bird and Grif Kerry hosted the first skate competition in London for over 9 years. All the top UK riders turned out. It was a treat that bladers from over 10 years ago dusted their skates off and came for a roll including people like Imeon Hartwig, Charlie Lockyer, Taz, Sid, Jordan Murphy and Johnny Sabento.
When us skaters talk about doing it right or being professional Zach Nelson and Matt Farnworth are people that come up quick under that definition. They are the owners of We Are One skate park. A skate park completely built by them personally for rollerbladers. This indoor park was professionally done. Nice wood, good coping, everything slides for a change even before you wax it, It's like skating woodward. So ACHOSEN-FEW.COM decided to team up with them to do a nice crazy competition the first week they officially opened the park. We decided to make the format a street format considering it is a part of the Chosen Few street comp series.
The Chosen Few Germany competition had a big turn out. We had right around 300+ people there and the competition was a success. Grindhouse was our premium sponsor for this competition. Thanks to them we had a pretty good cash prize for our top places. Chosen Few comps have a few twists that make the competition a little more difficult but also a little more rewarding.
Sometimes the best ideas are the ones that hit you spontaneously: In just 3 weeks Jon Julio and crew set up their game plan for 'The Blading Cup' which will take place at the beginning of August in Santa Ana, USA. Ryan Loewy hit up Jon to give you a quick overview of what to expect. The line-up for the comp already reads impressive and the guys managed to plant this event right into the busy festivities that will go down the same weekend in downtown Santa Ana.

Announced just a few weeks ago, the upcoming NYC Street Invite is set to leave a lasting impression. Our contributor Ryan Loewy talked with Billy O'Neill about the new real street competition the best bladers in the industry have been invited to compete in.
