The skater's busted their asses off all day for the top prize of $3000, but in the end only one pulled through and took the grand prize (Brian Aragon).

Baltic Games 2011 Contest Report + Official Edit by CanisLatrans Be-Mag·July 30, 2011Some of you may already have heard about Rollfest the annual gathering that brings polish rollerbladers together during one summer week at seaside resort Triocity. This year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of this crazy event which was special in every possible way. Since 2009 Rollfest was able to serve as a gathering for even more participants due to the Baltic Games festival, which is treated as the climax of the Rollfest. I can easily say that's the biggest and most prestigious skatepark contest throughout the year. With attendance of bladers as Alex Broskow, Erik Bailey, Fredrik Andersson, Alex Burston, Dre Powell, Nils Jansons, Mark Wojda, Fritz Peitzner, Josh Glowicki, Scott Quinn or Dominik Wagner just to name a few you can be sure to expect a show of highest levels!

Chosen Few Comp at We Are One Skatepark in Utah Be-Mag·July 27, 2011When us skaters talk about doing it right or being professional Zach Nelson and Matt Farnworth are people that come up quick under that definition. They are the owners of We Are One skate park. A skate park completely built by them personally for rollerbladers. This indoor park was professionally done. Nice wood, good coping, everything slides for a change even before you wax it, It's like skating woodward. So ACHOSEN-FEW.COM decided to team up with them to do a nice crazy competition the first week they officially opened the park. We decided to make the format a street format considering it is a part of the Chosen Few street comp series.

Grindhouse was our premium sponsor for this competition. Thanks to them we had a pretty good cash prize for our top places. Chosen Few comps have a few twists that make the competition a little more difficult but also a little more rewarding.

A Chosen Few Milton Keynes Street Comp Report + Official Be-Mag Edit by Jordan Maders Be-Mag·June 21, 2011The Chosen Few Milton Keynes Street Comp was a great event. We knew rain could be a factor and it was but it didn't matter thanks to the Bus Station Ledges. We did two spots there. 1st spot was the long T ledge. We said the whole place was open to skate for the first round but everyone sort of got stuck on this long ledge. Burston did one of the nicest true top souls ever all the way off the end cab out and Aaron Turner almost laced the 10 pound rebate trick on the ledge. The infamous true fish. With a grab, of course.
