BLADER KJELD NUIS WINS OLYMPIC GOLD

Kjeld Nuis came a long way since playing around in the skatepark with his homies. Nowadays he is World Champion speedskating (on ice) and has just won a gold medal on the 1500 meter race in Peyongchang. Most Dutch kids learn how to ice skate as soon as they can walk, and Kjeld is no exception. But most dutch kids don’t make it to the Olympics, let alone win olympic gold on the most important distance! While we haven’t seen much of him on grinderblades recently, the Dutch bladers are still following their homie on his many travels and contest wins. Blading might not be Olympic yet, at least we have a blader with a gold medal now!! Congratulations to Kjeld Nuis! Thanks to Remy Cadier for the news and the write-up.
