    One of the biggest and sickest skate contests located under a Brooklyn bridge is over and out. Alex Broskow is the man of the weekend taking home 5.000$ and the highly coveted title of the first NYC Street invite champion. One of our core filmers Sam DeAngelis is already going through 5GB of footage he gathered over the past weekend. To ease the waiting he comes up with a short trailer for the upcoming be-mag edit.     Lausanne Street & Bowl Contest 2011 in Switzerland

    From the 1st to the 4th of September 2011 the third edition of the Lausanne Street & Bowl Contest (a WRS 4 stars event) will take place at the legendary venue in Vidy where the well known IRCL was once held. This year, the spots built for the event will make you go crazy: from rainbow boxes and rainbow rails to the mighty dragon rail that was featured in 2010, be prepared for an ass-kicking course and some crazy stunts!

    The Chosen Few Finals have arrived once again and I can say without a doubt it is going to be an epic competition. Skaters all over the world have competed this year at ACF competitions. Every competition has determined the top 10 skaters and they have all earned points. We have organized 9 competitions with local organizers and included another 3 competitions to the series as well. I know what you’re thinking; Jellystone, Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, Ranger Smith… Yeah, they’ll all be there. Well, probably not. But, what you will find is a competition hosting all levels of talent at a monstrous skatepark with a guarantee of gloves coming off and some burly and super-tech tricks going down.

    The first Saturday in September brings you Wisconsin’s finest at a local skatepark up on Jellystone Park Drive in the town of Warrens. I know what you’re thinking; Jellystone, Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, Ranger Smith… Yeah, they’ll all be there. Well, probably not. But, what you will find is a competition hosting all levels of talent at a monstrous skatepark with a guarantee of gloves coming off and some burly and super-tech tricks going down. Daniel Kinney, founder and organizer of Bitter Cold Showdown, brings you the second annual Badger Bladeoff, a competition that is sure to that adrenaline pumping. So, whether it’s to spectate, initiate, player hate, or dominate, dust off that helmet and grab a crisp new Jackson (that’s a U.S. 20 spot for those of you unfamiliar with some dead presidents) before heading over to the cheese state. Green and yellow, optional.

    Go High Contest 2011 in Jastrzebie, Poland

    Jestrzebie's Zdroj competition aims at amateur and professional skaters and BMX/MTB riders. The competition itself will be held in a form of a jam session, a few minute heats where a number of skaters/riders show off their skills at the same time. The best of which will proceed to the next stage. This promotes face to face rivalry and is very entertaining for the spectators. The organizers have also planned a Best Trick competition to provide some breath taking stunts for the audience. The Inline skating part of the event is also a great opportunity for riders to collect additional points for the Triada Polish Rolling League.
