    Jug Black Sox Liner introduced

    Jug liners received a complete makeover in the new Black Sox liner. Highlight is a new dual density foam which consists of a high density EVA foam on the outside which provides support and distributes stress over a wider area. A softer inner PU foam adapts to the contours of your foot enhancing fit and comfort. The padding of the tongue was increased to almost 1” and it comes with a removable tongue insert which in a hidden pocket. New is also a V-shape elastic insert in the back which provides flex if skated with V-cut cuffs.

    ‘Seven Rats’ Premiere in Melbourne, Australia

    It’s Friday the 22nd of April, time for the world premiere of Australian DVD ‘Seven Rats’. It was in a dark and filthy cobblestone alleyway right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD that the red carpet was rolled out for all who attended. The appropriately named ‘Rancho Notorious’ was the venue for the evening. Inside on the first level was an old warehouse converted into a gallery showcasing talented Melbourne artists, but this didn’t take importance away from the bar which was serving the finest local and imported beers, wine, and an enormous cheese platter (real rat food). Like most who attended, Josh Clarke strolled in with his eyes set on the bar. The event and venue was one that Melbourne rollerbladers had not experienced before for a premiere, and everyone knew this meant something special.

    Skateweek 2011 in Linköping, Sweden

    From Saturday the 7th of May until Saturday the 14th of May the town of Linköping is hosting the first event of this size in Swedish history. There is going to be a skateweek stuffed with activities, shows, streetcomps, parkcomps, sessions and demos with the grand final in Cloetta Center Arena featuring Tony Hawk and the Yasutoko Brothers. Make sure that if you're ever going to visit Sweden you do it this week!

    “It’s All Good” – A film about Richard Taylor by Robin Lewis

    In 2001 I briefly met a man who everyone was trying to speak to, all the young skater kids wanted to see his next big trick and I have to admit I did, too. This man was Richard John Taylor who had been ripping up the scene since he turned professional at the age of 15 after winning the World Amateur International Inline Skate Series. If you have never heard of Richard, someone you know would have. All you have to do is see videos of Richard to see why he was so admired and famous for his upbeat attitude to life, he coined the phrase “It’s all good” and those three words could not encapsulate his character better.

    New and improved USD VII 2011 Skates in Stores 7th of May

    The VII was originally created as a pricepoint skate but after it was drastically improved both in comfort, hardwear and looks skaters on the team began to take an interest. Simply put, this skate can battle any skate on the market.     Anthony is a rider born and based out of Toulon, France. He has been rolling for years and always remained active in the sport. As one of the most known French riders he busted out in the past through many video sections and good competition results worldwide. His diverse style of riding reflects in multiple disciplines like street, vert and roller soccer and makes him a complete rollerblader with an unique style. Most people know him as a humble person that likes to go big even though it is getting harder as he gets older. The 27 years old European Vert Champion is constantly looking for new ways to promote the sport we all love so much and tries to involve young and talented riders into his activities all the time.

    Loco LoveScotland tour update 5.1: Edinburgh and Glasgow

    AWESOME tour stop at Edinburgh on Thursday. Chris Doughty and his girlfriend Lisa hooked it up big time with the accommodation the night before. A bunch of people turned up for the stop and Bailey showed us all exactly what he's all about working the cradle and bowls and dropping a bunch of hammers. Everybody sessioned the park for 7 hours straight. Tuffnell is injured after falling 15ft onto his ass in Aberdeen. He is out of commission for the rest of the tour now.

    Pier 25 Battle in New York City

    On April 9th, Hyper Mike held a competition at the Pier 25 skate park in Manhattan. The turnout for this battle style/jam session competition was great. Skaters from all over the Tri-State and NYC came out to watch the one on one battles and session the park. Among these bladers were Franco Cammayo, Hector "Tato" Gonzalez and special guest Dominik Wagner who came out to experience the NYC skate scene in full effect.
