Adapt Brand was founded in 2012 by Pieter Wijnant and Olga Bouwhuis and was officially launched at last year's Winterclash. The Dutch based company is still going strong and they are releasing new and improved models for 2013. Be-mag took some time to speak with the pair at their office in Den Haag to discuss the growing pains of a new blade company, product innovations as well as the collaboration with Be-mag on our limited edition 15th anniversary boot.

Zagreb has had a long love-hate relationship with rollerblading, ever since 1995. A few generations of skaters have come and gone, dropping rollerblading for more trendy stuff like skateboarding and drugs. There has always been a small group of people that kept things going, with edits, a few homemade videos and contests of all kinds. The first of the monthly rollerblader sessions in the indoor skatepark Supica was a call up, to see who's still alive and well.

Tim Wolff has been working in collaboration with Be-mag for quite some time. You may know him from his other company the Blackjack Project or some of his contemporary artwork as "Timrobot" in Berlin.

One day I was talking to my friend Kevin in BCN when I was there chilling at the Powerhouse (the biggest thanks Richie E. for letting me stay haha) and when we were talking he asked me if I would like to film an ''Up and Comers'' section for Be-Mag. I didn’t believe it in the beginning, but when I wrapped my head around the concept I was trying to blade as much as I could to get the best clips for the video!As always there were high and lows, tricks, bails and injuries so in the end I didn’t get as many clips as I wanted. I didn’t get to do the last planned hammer for the edit because of the contusion I caught along the way. My head is still woozy so I'm sorry if the edit isn't good enough for you, but know this – it would have been better if my head was made of metal and I don’t care what you think!

Pittsburgh artist Jeremy Beightol has had a pretty heavy influence on the blading industry over the past decade or more. You've seen his work in collaboration with companies like 4x4, Intuition Skate Shop, Ground Control, Psyko Clothing, his own brainchild Kaspa and now Be-mag.
