After months of preparation, the Blading Cup made its triumphant arrival in Jakarta, Indonesia where some of Asia’s best & brightest talent got the opportunity to compete in one of inline skating’s most coveted contest series. The Blading Cup team of Jon Julio, Miguel Ramos, Jason Reyna, and Koda Hult worked tirelessly to ensure the event was successful. From the looks of the highlight reel that Koda created, the Blading Cup Asia was a home run!
The event was separated into pro, veterans, open, 17 & under, and Bladies divisions & the level of competition was incredibly high from all competitors. The talent from the younger generations is astonishing, particularly the bladies & it should give us all hope that the future of rollerblading is in skillful hands. We salute Jon Julio & the Blading Cup crew for a successful international event & we look forward to seeing where they will land next!
