I got married at the end of last year and was lucky enough to have a few of my favourite people make the long, old voyage over to Melbourne. Amongst the celebrations, it would have been rude not to get in some rollerblading action. I told Ed not to worry about bringing the big camera bag this time, as it wasn’t predominantly a skate trip, but we still managed to capture a few sessions.

We took to the sunny Melbourne streets armed with our phones and the trusty Insta 360 (not sorry purists), resulting in some immaculate, no-pressure skate adventures. Just a few old friends, still getting out there and enjoying the thing that brought us together all those years ago. It was like a day hadn’t gone by. Was originally going to post on Instagram, but after collecting a bit more than anticipated, we decided perhaps it could be ‘Youtube worthy’ and Ed worked his magic to add the bells and whistles. We’re happy with how it turned out and hopefully you all enjoy. For anyone out there who feels like they don’t have the right equipment or that their skating isn’t good enough to share, everyone has a phone these days, and it’s never a bad idea to make art with your friends, regardless of how ‘proper’ you think it is. Hopefully, this will inspire some of you to get out there and make something cool with the homies.
