    Today Daniel Kinney, the inventor or organizer of the BCSD, announced the end of the contest series – two days after its successful 13th installation. The sad news spread like wildfire through the networks and the rolling media. The industry is shocked that one of the world's biggest and most important rolling contests won't take place anymore.     It's starting to get busy in the Modern Skatepark in Royal Oak, Michigan. People are gathering for the Bittercold Showdown. Soon the park will be full of some of the best bladers in the world, and the competition will be heating up the cold Michigan winter. Eric Miller is the first to drop an edit from the BSCD2013, his pre-session edit called "Some Dudes on the Blades", features skating of Eric Miller, Toe Jorres, Wake Schepman and others, enjoy!

    Zima Jam is going down for the third year in a row in Urban Roof's indoor skatepark in Ljubljana, Slovenia. For the last two years the competition raised limits of skating in Slovenia so be prepared for 2013's edition!

    Ponycup 2013 in Nykøbing Falster, Denmark

    Once again Ponycup 2013 will get some overseas visitors at Kulturfabrikken! Names such as Dominik Wagner, Nils Jansons, Nick Lomax, Alex Burston, Richie Eisler and Miro Kolb will be in attendance. This year we will also be paid a visit from Blackjack and Hedonskate who will put up a booth with new and fresh gear for you to check out. So remember to bring your wallet if you want to get hooked up with the newest and freshest gear!

    On Saturday evening, a simple scarf helped Dominik Wagner throw down a hammer so big, Thor got jealous. Charging over and over at a safety barrier-handrail-quarter transfer was getting frustrating, until a CampHolland hooligan ran up. He threw the legendary Svenergy scarf around Dominik's neck and the result? A thousand shouting, partying rollerbladers and one of the gnarliest tricks of the day. The perfect moment for Sven Boekhorst's final Winterclash and a main highlight of the event.

    Each year, 150 riders and 1000 visitors attend the Gladiator Contest in Nantes, France for Gladiator Contest! The competition is going strong for eight years already and will take place on the 23rd and 24th of March this year!
