So you wake up in one of the many tents which turn Roskilde into the fourth most populated city in Denmark, every year for a week. A beautiful mess to wake up in. A beautiful week to look forward to, throughout the rest of the year. Greetings from Roskilde Festival, fellow humans! This time again, Kaspars Alksnis delivered a great selection of photographs: grab your tent and come join us!

The schedule is tight, and won’t allow for much more blading. Roskilde booked no less than 166 acts, and needless to say, you won’t be able to run fast enough to see them all play live! So after going through the program of the day, you make your own while still leaving enough space for improvisation. The beauty of it all is to let music guide you, after all, and in Roskilde there is nothing better than simply going with the flow!
After hearing the Danish folk of Dreamers’ Circus at the always surprising Gloria stage, you join the church of Father John Misty and hang out in the shade, getting ready for Foxygen‘s histerical performance. You embrace the your feminine side for a few songs with Perfume Genius, before dancing with Jungle in what might have been the most packed concert you have ever seen at the Avalon stage. Securing their spot in the rock and roll hall of fame show after show, you witness Muse‘s overall greatness again, and then crack a few jokes with Die Antwoord, before Hot Chip sets the Arena on fire and leaves you dancing in the dark. Another great ender to yet another great day in Roskilde!
