If you haven’t noticed the huge resurgence within rollerblading and in action sports in general, than you may need to be paying closer attention to the signs. Kids and adults alike are slowly coming back to inline skating and other individualized sports and one of the main reasons for the huge spike in numbers has been the rise of female participation. Women are flocking to inline skating and other extreme sports in record numbers but the overall representation of them within the action sports media has been very minimal, sadly. We hope to change that.
We are extremely excited to present the CALM YOUR TITS video project that aims to share women’s personal experiences and show how they are breaking barriers within their own communities, whether it be through inline skating, skateboarding, BMX, surfing or whatever your passion may be.
In some of the first videos released from the CALM YOUR TITS project you can see one of rollerblading’s best, Ms. Mery Muñoz, skating along side other noteworthy skaters, skateboarders and BMX riders in Barcelona Spain where they show off some of their best moves for your enjoyment, but most importantly, their own enjoyment.
Riders featured are Mery Muñoz, Alice Smith, Benitez Aylén, Marta Dávila, Mateu Mia Vidal, Sarah Reif, Alejandra Jiménez, Kayley Ashworth, Teresa Azcoaga and Gemma Corbera with videography and video editing by Artūrs Lūriņš (1st video) and Linda Lindenberga (2nd video). We look forward to seeing more from the CALM YOUR TITS project in the future as it has something that everyone can enjoy, regardless of your discipline or personal taste. Keep kicking ass, girls!
