Parallel Projects presents SPRAWL: a film and photo series by Andy Plumridge and Jarrod Thackeray. Set amongst the vibrant urban landscapes of Naarm (Melbourne) and Gadi (Sydney), this project documents a crew of skaters in their pursuit of reinterpreting the city’s architecture. Spanning from 2021 to 2023, the film combines digital and analogue mediums, accompanied by a hip-hop and jazz-oriented soundtrack, to capture the atmosphere of their skating experience.

Led by Rajab Al Reefi, this organisation is dedicated to sharing the joy of skating and nurturing the growing scene in Gaza.
