Argentina Scene report Be-Mag·August 7, 2010In the past months South America Rollerblading has been getting more and more attention from the industry. Just recently the USD- and the NIMH-Team toured through the vibrant countries of Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and Colombia. One South American country (that is definitely not to be sneezed at) has been neglected during those trips. Since Be-Mag is always looking for the underground and grassroots scenes around the globe, we are happy to showcase you some Argentina rolling flavor. Here, dedicated rollers are about to change their underground and grassroots status and put Argentina on the big map. Local heroe Francisco March provides us with a great insight into the Argentina Rolling scene and Argentina itself. Check it out.

[MAG]: A new online rollerblading magazine from the Netherlands Be-Mag·August 2, 2010The idea of a free online magazine came to mind, which we started in January 2010. Holland has had some magazines in the past (I mainly refer to Funbox but there have been others), but not anymore for some years now. There are several nice free online magazines now, but none of them show the real potential of the Dutch rollerblading scene.
Making of the Game Theory: Interview with Brazilionaire Be-Mag·July 29, 2010It has now been well over a year and a half of filming for the new Razor video, Game Theory. Over this time period we have literally traveled around the world with some of the best skaters on the planet making what I know will be an epic skate video. Love them or hate them the Razors team is composed of some of the hardest workers and the most unique individuals Ive ever met, which is why I believe the team is so complete. Everyone has their own style, outlook on life, and a certain way they like to skate but when we all come together everyone is able to connect. What this does is allows everyone to learn from each other and obviously skate better. With the video deadline approaching everyone is anxiously anticipating the release of the video and even though the amount of tricks everyone needs has been met, the whole team is still motivated to go out and skate everyday in hopes of making their section even stronger. Personally, Ive never spent so long filming for a video and I think that will be shown through the video with such a wide array of tricks, scenery, and style. Im so happy to be part of this project and I think the video will be something that we can all be proud of.

Billy O’Neill and Demetrios George in Sweden (update 2) Be-Mag·July 14, 2010So we had an amazing time in Eskilstuna to say the least...Nothing better than sessioning with the kids at "ZeroOneSix" an extremely sick park built by the man himself Igor Jovanovic and Fredrik Andersson. Having a chance to teach some stretches to keep them healthy and truly getting involved grass roots Hedonskate style. The sessions popped off with Billy's imaculate steez and Nils Jansons' crushing every obstacle. Not to mention the street skating that went down, Eskilstuna holding us down can't wait to come back soon. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our next stop at Hangaren in Linkoping.
