A Sunday with Jeremy Townsend Be-Mag·March 24, 2011Jeremy picked me up mid day and we decided to cruise downtown Seattle to find spots that were brand new or looked upon in the past. Because parking in downtown is extremely competitive we had to park in a hidden lot in between some abandoned buildings. Taking the risk of getting a citation we decided it was more important to strap on the blades and not waste anymore day light.

LocoSkates LoveScotland Tour Announcement Be-Mag·March 21, 2011Without wanting to do too much self-trumpet-blowing, it has occurred to me that our team at LocoSkates is an outstanding collection of UK rollerblading talent. It's also occurred to me that we have alot of fun when we travel. Nor did it slip my mind that Scotland is not only a great market for us at LocoSkates.com, but is full of killer street spots, incredible skateparks and inspired, pro-active, hospitable people. One Day In Kuala Lumpur with Nik Suhaili Be-Mag·March 17, 2011Nik has been a big part of my beginnings in skating, him amongst other guys from the International School in Geneva, Switzerland...were the only young riders in Geneva. I didn't hang out much with the older skaters because I was kinda of a dickhead, but we all grow up and look back laughing at how stupid we were....anyway. Nik is a truly good friend, and I really miss the time we spent in Geneva, skating, talking shit, being young and having fun...he even made it to the same public school as I a few years later, and a couple before he moved back to Malaysia. I've seen him again of course, shortly, during comps, and I'm just glad he kept on rolling and I consider him as one of the sickest skaters in south east asia region!- Nicolas Schopfer

Ignition City Guide Berlin by Dirk Oelmann Be-Mag·March 13, 2011A City Guide is a simple way to introduce a new place and country to people who want to travel there. It gives them insight on the best of the best it has to offer from food, art, fashion/design and skate spots. At the beginning of last year I started to work on a Berlin guide for Ignition Skateshop. The first city guide I created was for Helsinki, Finland in my spare time while I worked in the graphic design department of my university. This was a fun side project for me when I studied there for six months on an exchange program in 2008.
