On saturday July 3rd we (Gabe Holm, Andrew Smolak, Paul Yacovone, and myself) were out skating and happen to run into a few of the local RI bladers who told us about this new ledge and rail they found in India point park in Providence. So we went and checked it out, to find out it was actually a pretty dope spot. We didn't plan on making a one minute one spot edit. I was getting random clips just for the hell of it when gabe said "if you land a few more tricks, you probably could make your one minute one spot edit here". At this point I've landed handful of tricks on video, so figured why not and did a few more maneuvers and there you have it, the Jeff Dalnas One minute, one spot for be-mag.
Brian Aragon took first place at the NASS Festival last weekend in Somerset, UK. Aragon again raised the bar with this incredible 720 transfer.
You need to watch it twice to really understand what's going on here!
Switzerland has some great talents. You might have seen this already at the Winterclash 2010. Place 1 - 3 in the Amateur Comp were taken by Swiss Rollers. Here we've got two of them (Stephan de Freitas and Diego Guilloud) pushing again the envelope on the streets.
On the Conference-Page you have the possibility to virtually create your unique skate. The Conference custom tool is a toy you can spend hours with finding the ultmiate set-up. Check out the commercial below.
Yesterday (July 8th) the Razors International Pro Team visited the Duisburg-Skatepark for a "Meet and Greet" session. A lot of local rollers came out to skate with Brian Aragon, Chaz Sands, Stephan Horngacher and Edwin Wieringh. But also the German Media (TV and Print) showed to get the current World Champion in front of their lenses.
Anybody still remember the good ol days when Rawlinson Rivera hit Puerto Rico and taught the kids how to royale and unity. I guess they've taken it to the heart.
The first MTG stop was held at an urban lifestyle festival in the south of Holland, near the German border. The location is the Megaland which is in the city Landgraaf. The festival exposes different lifestyles such as: Beat-boxing, Graffiti, Skateboarding, BMXing and of course Rollerblading. Unique at this year's festival is the fact that the Mind the Gap will also host an BMX contest on its setup. Mind the Gap couldnt have a better festival to start this years tour.
