Over the past two months, I've been meeting up with David Johns to film for what was going to be the first of many Insight profiles on our newly launched media base, CFRtv. Here we will be showcasing talents from all over the state of Florida with Insight profiles, interviews, clips of the week, session edits, and our one day segment which will consist of following a Florida blader for an entire day documenting their every move. David is one of the coolest, most laid back dudes I know and he loves to be on his blades. When he's not valeting cars at Universal Studios, taking photos, or spending time with his girlfriend Megan, you can find David killing it all over Orlando which this Insight profile shows you. Take a look and get to know a little bit about David Johns. -Frankie Terranova
Sean Kelso, Colin Kelso, Alex Broskow, Adam Exline, Joey Longstreth, Travis Rhodes, Kc Roche, Pat Doherty, Michael Collins & Paul John all in one edit. This must be good, eh? Filmed in Philadelphia, Kansas City & Chicago over the past year by Sean Kelso.
One evening with Andrey Zaytsev in Moscow - is this enough? Seeing this edit you most likely will wish he would have spent more nights in Moscow. Check it out below.
Last weekend was all about NASS festival 2011, lots of drinking, good times with friends and some sick skating! If you couldn't make it here are some of the clips I filmed from the Pro and Am events on both the park and street courses. -Guy Millership
How could I put into words who James Johnson is to me? James is someone that I feel blessed to share experiences on this planet with. A human being that inspires me to better myself. A dude, that I would fly out to Arizona to hang out with, even if I can't skate cause I have a busted shin. Yes, he owns a skate shop. Yes, he has been the back bone of one of the healthiest skate scenes in America. Yes, he has had hundreds of people staying in his home so they could come skate in AZ, but for me James is way more than the sum of what he did or did not. For me, James Johnson is a friend, a brother (even if I am not close to being Native). As for his skating, I will let the 90 seconds speak for itself. -Mathieu Ledoux
Christian Berg has been building his own guerllia skatepark in Copenhagen for quite some time. This is an edit of him and Montre skating the thing. Must see!
Introducing 2 Dutch skaters: Timmy van Rixtel, 24 and Jeroen Wullems, 21. After they got 100,- for a skatedemo they decided to go on a tour through the Netherlands. With no plan they found lots of new spots and had lots of fun.
Sleeping in the car and being hungry was their daily routine. They asked people for money and sold old stuff. By this they earned around 70,-. That's how they survived.
It was also Timmy's first period of skating after his anckle injury. But now he's getting back on track. Together with Jeroen they pulled out a nice edit and they allready have ideas for Part 2, if they can find more supporters.
Peep this sweet edit brought to you by the Sacramento Crew and Rollerwarehouse. The guys visited Yuba City for this week´s session which seems to have been worth it! Enjoy!
These days a lot of great skateparks have to face financial difficulties. Unfortunately the ASPO skatepark (Japan) - home to the infamous MFTBRAND Crew - is one of them. Even though the local skaters tried everything they could to avoid the final shutdown - in the end - it just wasn´t meant to be. Despite this being a sad occasion Soichiro Kanashima, Yuto Guto and the rest of the guys and girls made an effort putting together this sweet edit of their last session for us to enjoy.
Check out this sweet edit featuring David Sizemore, Sven Boekhorst and Robert Guerrero traveling through different european cities and enjoying their life on wheels!
TJ is Utahs next generation of rollerblading. This kid is steadfast and has a style in his skating that you can't help but notice. Confident and clean in all aspects. I love how rad he makes our sport look. If you catch him anywhere on his blades his talent automatically steals your attention and what's even greater is how much fun you can tell he's having. Kid loves rollerblading and our sport is lucky to have him.

Apparently this is their last edit filmed at this park because of it closing its doors. So for one last time at this facility: stage free for some impeccable Japanese steez!
Matthias was obviously my first choice when choosing who should be featured in 'Seven Rats'. The first project I filmed with Matthias was his Rollerblade Solo Collective edit, which we pumped out in only about 5 sessions, this made me realize how quickly this guy can stack some decent clips. We became good friends through filming and skating together for the past year and a half which made it extremely easy to work with him on this project. Matthias' section is filmed mostly in the central business district of Melbourne, which gives the section a more urban and architectural feel, the same aesthetic of Matthias' previous video sections/ the Clip series. His creativity and effortless style is something that can only be gained through years of experience, as Jon Julio once said about Dustin Latimer 'He can make anything look good'. Matthias has been a blessing for the scene here in Melbourne, and a blessing for rollerblading in general. This 'left-over' edit is a collection of clips we filmed that weren't intended for use in his section, you will have to buy the DVD to see what he can really do.
