Here's the second State of Mind Webisode of the season: Wild (Woodward) West State of Mind. Some of you may know that I grew up rollerblading. Ya ya fruitbooter! ;) All jokes set aside, I really did love it and feel as though it's helped me become the skier I am today. Last summer, my girl Ashley Battersby and I rolled out to Woodward West in Cali on some windy days to get some foam pit action going. We had a blast, check it out! Right now I'm shredding in Mammoth getting ready for X, next webisode coming soon, stay tuned! -Kaya Turski
Judging by this edit, 2011 has been a very successful year for Chynna. I open this can of Ravioli hoping to see much more of her exquisite blading in 2012!
Detroit, Michigan blader, Chynna Weierstall, hit up the Historical Museum ledges recently to shoot a little sesh. Her switch-ups and lines make this a must see. Chynna gets on a serious flow with some butter style. Make sure to check this one out.
I made a mini box out of a bookshelf. Skated it a bunch of different ways in my backyard and took it to some spots to get some clips before I got kicked out of a couple of them. -Chynna Weierstall
Aarin Gates loves to blade and smile. It's infectious. She'll make the whole crew smile without saying a word. She has great energy, and continues to stomp out every trick with passion and style. I've been blading for 18+ years and can honestly say that I have never seen a female with the strength and style that Aarin possesses. So today we present to you, her "One Minute One spot" filmed at Santa Ana Skate Park. Special thanks goes out to Xsjado, Create Originals, Denial and SDSF Blade Shop, the people who support Aarin.
As you might have seen Kaya Turski from Montreal took her second straight women's Winter X Slopestyle gold medal at this year's X Games (January 27th - 30th 2011).
Beau Cottington visits Kaya at Mammoth Mountain for some park laps and to get a quick glimpse of her daily life in the California mountain town. Looks like shes doing good. Enjoy!
I could start by saying that its hard to put down some words about Olga Bouwhuis because she is my girlfriend and that could complicate things. But instead, I find it quite easy to write about her. The reason for that is that she is not only my girlfriend, she is also my best friend, my skating buddy and one of the funniest and down to earth girls I have ever come across. She has a big heart for the new generation kids on wheels and an even bigger heart for Rob G. She is the kind of person that you just can't describe in words. Olga for me is the purest form in rollerblading, too me.. she is rollerblading!
