Mats-Kaarel Ruus invites you to the Spot of Blade competition, in Tallinn, Estonia, on 5th of August, just one week after the “Ghetto Games Festival” takes once again place in Ventspils, Latvia.
Eesti Trikirulluisutamise Klubi aka. ETRKBlading is inviting everyone to Estonia, Spot of Tallinn action sport facility, which is the biggest of it’s kind in the region & probably also in Eastern- & Northern-Europe, for blading competition “Spot of Blade 2017”.
There will be 3 different competitions happening touring the event. The day will begin in the street area with beginner and amateur jam contest. In the midday we are going to move to foam pit area for the jumping event where is expected in addition to have also freestyle skiers participating for the purpose of bringing these two similar sport closer together. The day will come to an end with main event, international pro contest & “Estonian Open Championships in Blading 2017”in the bowl area of the action sport centre.
The beginner & AM street competition will happen in jam format. Participants will be in groups of 2 & have 3 minutes to do their best. Everyone will have only one chance & there won’t be finals happening.
The foam pit event will be held in traditional Big Air format. Each participant will have 4 attempts from which the 2 best scores will determine the winner. To get the tricks considered successful by the judges, you got to land the tricks on feet.
The pro bowl contest will be held in progressive jam format. Participants will be divided in to groups of 4 & they will have 10 minutes to impress the judges both in qualification & finals. Each rider will get 2 x up to 1 minute(or until the 1st fall) runs in the bowl, after which they will get 3 tries for their Best Trick. The best 8 riders will advance to the final, which will be held in the same format. The combined score of the runs & best tricks will determine the winner.
The event day will start at 10am with the registration & street warm-ups. The competition will start at 12am with the street jam.
