I was invited by Ryan Gillett of Cidy Life to join them and to photograph their trip to Barcelona.
So after very nearly missing my flight and running all the way from security with cameras and lens in every pocket (due to rather unsympathetic airport security) I joined Ryan, James Sharp, Simon Isles, Dan Stirling, Sam Walker, Steve Collis, Sam Tufnell, and Jake Eley.

We tried to cover spots that Ryan and crew had not skated in the previous trip/video. Some of this was done by exploring until we found anything appealing and obviously in Barcelona you don’t have to walk far to find something good!
One day we decided to explore Barcelona by dropping a knife onto a map from above. Only our distance from the map and the map size/ratio was off so the first few attempts we ended up in the sea! Anyway, we eventually landed on a viable location and it lead us to some great spots.
It was a truly brilliant experience, a great chance to spend time with old friends and get to know some new friends better. I look forward to more of the same should I get the chance again.
