The Atlanta blading scene has seen quite a rejuvenation the last few years thanks to the hard work of a few dedicated skaters organizing weekly skating events and promoting between the different skating disciplines, such as quad, fitness skaters and rink skaters. With the revitalization of their incredible skating scene also comes with it more skating events, such as the CapCon event, organized by the legendary ATLien, Richard Williams!

The CapCon event went down recently and our homies at Montgomery Monsters & Tusk were in attendance & both came back with some incredible skating shots of the event & one hell of a highlight video from the event with appearances from pro bladers such as Montre Livingston, Jimmy Cisz, Chad Hornish, Matty Schrock and Chynna Weierstall and a crop of the South’s best amateur talent such as Cody Forrester, Pablo Porta, Stephanie Bennett, Ramirez Sanchez, Greyson Taylor, Kristian Rivera, Malachi the Ripper, Luis Corrales, Vlad Kocherga and Patrick Andersen. And let us not forget some of the incredible quad skaters such as Morgan Anderson, Nix Fisch, Qiona Marie and Montre Livingston doing double duty on the blades and quads!

So make your plans to be there for next year’s CapCon & peep the amazing pictures and sweet edit of this year’s event by the Allinson Brothers; which gets extra style points for using Soul II Soul’s “Back To Life (However Do You Want Me)”, which was famously used by Hype Williams’s classic movie Belly!
