The Uptown Get Down hosted by our brother Big Jon Ortiz is in its third year & after a rough winter season, the east coast skaters definitely shook off their cabin fever & came out in full force for the action-packed street comp set in the Bronx. Butter TV’s JP Primiano was in attendance to document the event & once again perfectly highlighted the stand out appearances from Chino Sin, Zack Savage, Jo Kap, Josh Weaver, Arsenio Patterson and many more! There was also a very unexpected & welcomed cameo from NYC legend & blading pioneer Joe Dedentro!
This year’s event was a great way to start the competitive season & the skaters all had to dig deep into their bag of tricks to try to go home with the win. The hammer dropping stylings of Jeff Dalnas earned him a much deserved 1st place win, with Zack Savage taking a close second place, and Jo Kap taking third & best trick went to the always steezy Sal Zaso.
