Michael Witzemann was recently awarded the coveted prize that all skaters dream about -having his very own signature pro skate, which was awarded to him from USD Skates. The new Michael Witzemann pro boots come in the form of a Sway model, a skate that he has been popularizing for many years now. Mikey had this to say about the highly inventive promo, which shows his wide ranging skating styles both on a traditional street setup as well as a big wheeled wizard setup.
Let me start this quick caption by saying thanks to my friends here in Vienna that helped me put this piece together – doing long street misisons and defeating numerous challenges along the way! And as I get another shot at saying thanks, this one goes out to everyone I met so far along my path in the skating world.
Big thanks to my sponsors at this point, and of course especially USD for giving me the opportunity to have my own pro skate. It’s a blessing really. On the edit itself I wanted to add a touch of a game that blew me away ever since I discovered it, and the people that have played it too will appreciate the references and bits in here, even if it’s not many. Without any further comments, I hope you enjoy our big project from this summer!

The promo video shows Witzemann carving a path all his own, with seamlessly flowing lines, inventive stair rides and pivots, and re-imagining of somewhat obscure tricks such as cabdrivers. Witzemann also perfectly splices tidbits of the popular Cuphead game into his video, giving his already inspiring promo that little extra sauce for flavor.
