Jastrzebie Go High – Flying high at the Jastrzebie’s Zdroj Skatepark.
This weekend, 20th & 21st of august, an in-line skating and MTB/BMX competition takes place at the Jastrzebie Zdroj Skatetepark. It will be a perfect occasion to see some extreme action sports rivalry.
Jestrzebie’s Zdroj competition aims at amateur and professional skaters and BMX/MTB riders. The competition itself will be held in a form of a jam session, a few minute heats where a number of skaters/riders show off their skills at the same time, best of which will proceed to the next stage . Such form, promotes face to face rivalry and is very entertaining for the spectators. The organizers have also planed the Best Trick competition to provide some breathtaking stunts for the audience. Inline skating part of the event is also a great opportunity for riders to collect additional points for Triada Polish Rolling League.
Jastrzebie Go High is a Jastrzebie’s Zdrój City Council, Techramps Skateparks and ‘Green’ Sports and Cultural Association initiative. Such events help to promote Jastrzebie Zdrój as a spot for extreme sports fans and young talents to develop.
Jastrzebie Go High means two days of high powered, extreme and entertaining competition. The contestants will compete for prizes in equipment and cash of overall 5000 Euro worth. Finals start at 15:00 and end at 18:00 on Sunday.
