On September 29th in sunny San Jose, CA The Lux Street Comp went off…

Bodies were chucked at chunky high ledges, rails were slid, and then more rails were slid, slams were had (peep Russell Day’s Instagram for the yellow and purple ankle), beers were drank, smoke was smoked, lot’s of daps were given, there was even a youth comp on a P-Rail.

Congratulations to Anthony Luna for the win (soul to top soul transfer that hyped the crowd into a frenzy, literarily the last trick of the comp, sealed the deal, done, winner, proverbial mic drop), and congrats to all the other competitors, crews, locals and commuters for making the scene; the North West Shred Tour kicked the summer off in the Bay Area in a big way, I don’t think anyone could have hoped for a better coda to the summer than what went down at the Lux Street Open.
