They used to be all over the place, every week-end or so, but now they almost disappered and I think it’s time to put them back on map and celebrate, big time ! The Bling Bling street contest will now hold its 4th edition this next month in Lille (FR). Featuring several exciting street spots, there will be a lot of stuff around too so wise street skaters should definitely keep an eye opened for spots that aren’t part of the official schedule!
A whole week-end has been planned for all of you that will take the trip to France. As a matter of fact, Lille is right next to the Belgium border and close enough to Germany and the Netherlands to have a truly international street contest. Here’s a more detailed schedule :
April 23d: Bling Bling Pre-session at the Forward Freestyle skatepark in Belgium.
April 24th: Bling Bling Street Contest : meeting spot is set at Euralille around 1PM + huge after party with DJ sets and live performances by various street artists.
April 25th: Bling Bling Best Trick Contest at Lille’s indoor skatepark (Halle de glisse).
