Here is a first edit of the Laced Competition held at Rampworx Skatepark in Liverpool on February 4th 2012. Mad spins, crazy disasters, techy switch-ups - skating is looking good in 2012.

Peep this edit of the RVB skatepark in France. A park built by bladers for bladers. These guys are heroes.

When we were filming for the CITYHOPPER film I realized there was a greater potential for the footage we had shot up until then. Considering that more than half of the great shots we had made and good vibes we had documented would not be shown in the finished short skating film, the idea of making an online documentary as well as a 'regular' skating film dawned on me. The idea grew as we were hitting up more and more memorable spots. I thought this concept was just too fresh to go unexplained to the masses. Most rollerbladers, or even BMXers and Skateboarders, can get into the idea of creating more possibilities for themselves by altering the terrain you skate on, though this is not a concept most ordinary people grasp. And why would they? It is not like they 'enjoy' architecture is the same manner as we skating folks do.

We leave it up to you if Powerblades should be used to do regular Blading tricks or invent new ones, to leap further or jump higher, to skate spots that aren't skated as easily with an Anti setup. Or simply just for going fast. The idea David and his pals came up with is definitely great and should be seen as a hint to how a great flat frame could look like. Matthieu Dosso, Greg Breger, Julien Joubert, Thomas Joly, and Ronan Algalarrondo went on a four day trip to Barcelona, Spain. While they were in Barca, they skated the streets and laced some pretty sweet powerblading tricks. Hit play and check out this edit covered in a sweet vibe! Enjoy.

'The Breakfast Club' is the newest video project out of the Netherlands, aka Holland, or for some people just Amsterdam! That is precisely where the maker of this project is from. We are speaking of Cavin Brinkmann, supported by his sidekick, the no less infamous dog Bobby! Cavin is the dude that you see dancing in those crazy Dutch edits. Do not get the wrong idea though, Cavin is a guy that puts all his energy into what he does. Living in Amsterdam has not made him a drug addict that would abandon skating for a high – skating and filming skating is his high!

Family Matters started of as a video project with a crew of gypsy skaters from Montreal. The video was filmed with a VX2000 Between the months of April and July 2010 and edited in a day or two. Montreal is a multicultural city with all kinds of people, the skaters here all come from different backgrounds working different careers; French baker, architect, stuntman and plain Gypsies. Skating is the one passion that managed to gather all these individuals together and with it grew friendships behond skating. After sessions are always good times, the night life is really exciting and you can always find a group of the skating scene out partying and most times all the original Family Matters crew out together enjoying this amazing city.
