    Nicolas Schopfer: One Minute One Spot

    It's a real pleasure for me to introduce the "One Minute One Spot" for my friend Nicolas Schopfer! I've known Nic for more than a decade now. I remember him skating back in the days when he was a 1,20 m tall kid skating in his blue Salomons and with his huge helmet – hence his nickname "Mushroom". From then on he never stopped skating, kept improving, always striving for perfection. He's now the great and stylish skater we all know! Thankfully Nic is always motivated for a little session. I'd say even more so now that he started editing etc. He's the one who brought me back into skating when we went to Malta after a few years break and I'm really grateful to him for everything!

    UK filmmaker Tom Sharman will present the premiere of his first skate video "&?" at 8pm on September 17 at The Grove Tavern in London. Sharman has been working on this blading video for quite some time now and, despite seveal setbacks, it is now complete.

    Thursday Night Skate at Chandler Skatepark

    Every Thursday night Revolution throws a skate session drawing the likes of anyone and everyone in the area that likes to get down and roll. This session in particular spawned a super chill edit put together by Aaron Stine and Derek Stanton which features Kenny Scherf, Andrew Scherf, James Johnson, Jeff Dobkins, Jon Jenkins, Justin Runyon, Zared Yates, and Derek Stanton. Just another great example of how great the rolling community is. We get together, hang out, and skate simply because we are all rollerbladers.

    Eric Miller: Last of the SD Footage Edit

    Eric Miller just returned from Army training in Wisconsin to find his apartment broken into. Among the valuables taken was his videocamera. Well, luckily Eric had enough money to jump on the HD ship, and luckily for us, he compiled all of his old Standard Definition footage into one sweet edit. Have a look.

    Quite a few edits have been made of this phenomenal contest but this is the one to remember. The edit features most of the big tricks that were thrown down, new angles and an incredible vibe, which is underlined by some sweet jazzy music and some amazing panorama shots of New York City.     California 2010 Memories by Sim Warren

    So there was 8 of us. Myself, Jake Eley, Joe Atkinson, Julian Coulture, Sam Tuffnell, Keith Wisdom, Jamie Stenner and Jamie's wife Rikki. It was the AIL finals at Woodward West, combined with a further week of skating, whale watching, beaching and chillaxing. Now, this trip happened in November and I have no excuses as to why it's now the end of August 2011 and it's just coming out now. However, I finally got round to spending some time on this edit so that those who went and for those who didn't can see what happened at the AIL finals in woodward and a few extra bits. -Sim Warren
