Jeff and I recently took a few days to film for the re-release of the Carbon 2 around the DC area. Here is what went down. Be sure to go out and pick up some Carbon 2's while you still can. Peep and enjoy. Peace! -Nick Pisciotta
Ever since the first rolling videos hit the market in the early '90's, certain releases such as 'The Hoax' and VG installments, or later published milestones like 'Coup de Tat' and 'Brain Fear Gone' have changed not only the way people tend to look at and think about the specific scenes and rollerbladers portrayed, but also rolling culture itself. Even though I think it's too early to say what long term effect the release of GC.1 will have on the rolling world it undoubtedly has heightened my expectations regarding filming and video graphic techniques. Adding the extremely high production quality to the skills of one of the best teams in rollerblading yet, the math basically does itself. The Ground Control team video represents the passion and hard work Jon Elliott and his crew have put into their dream, resulting in one of the most spectacular videos to date.
One Day NY just released a banger edit with Dominik Wagner shredding down the streets of New York. These clips are from all over the city either at a late night session after work or just random occurrences while out and about with the crew. Filmed by Michael Valenzuela, Kyle Sola, Nigel Hosang, Sean Engler, and David Toro, who also made the edit.
The Bladermods Crüe, which consists of Zebastian Cassel, Stephanie Midhammar, Julius Norrbom, Robin Bennett, and Christofer Kohn, went to the Hangaren Hot Sport Centre in Linköping, Sweden. At this sweet skatepark the guys (and girls) go all out, lacing sick tricks and bailing like bosses, but most importantly, having a blast with friends. Filmed in February and March this year and edited by Zebastian Cassel, this video gives you a great impression of how the guys of the Bladermods Crüe live their life with passion for blading. Enjoy!
Check out this bonus section of the Family Matters 2 DVD, featuring the upcoming and development of rollerblading. The old school bladers, hot chicks, the upcoming of the rollerblading communtiy, some bits of the sickest profiles, it's all in here. Enjoy!
David Sizemore, Cody Porche and Robert Guerrero shredding USA, Austria, Italy, Holland and France using Blank Products. Blank makes frames and liners. More to come... soon.
If you haven't watched my last edit of a session at the new Tri State Skate location than you haven't read my last write up and you don't know I just spent a weekend in NYC. So to catch you up, Erod mentioned a trip he was taking out east and I decided to buy myself a flight "you know how I love traveling". With only a few days to skate going up against the weather conditions we managed to pull some street clips together for your enjoyment. This trip was just pure love for the blades. No stress continual action and content. Expect more to come. Hope you enjoy! -Demetrios George
At the latest after watching Pariah we know that Dylan Davies and Nick LaBarre have some high affinity to street-skating. Here are some more bangers from the up and comers.
Been collecting footage up over the past year or so. This edit features some of Scotland's best rollers with a little help from some of our English friends. Some proper hardcore, and tech skate skating going down. -Andy Mills
Jan Welch recently moved back to his hometown of Austin, TX from sunny San Diego. He's just posted up some vintage blading from Rat-Tail for the world to enjoy. Check out the Vicious bearings team video "Sleeze" intro.
Norway's finest Olav Norheim filmed a lot last summer on different locations, but most of the time in Scandinavia. Here is a good looking potpourri of clips. Most of them were filmed by Be-Mag's Norway ambassador Jonas Bodtker.
