Travel Essentials: Kaspars Alksnis

Along with his good friend Nils Jansons, Latvian photographer Kaspars Alksnis has been a great ambassador for the Baltic blading scene. Not only does the ever-smiling young man kill it on the blades, Kaspars is also one of the masterminds behind, which has tremendously helped the scene grow locally, and managed Riga’s indoor Monsterpark until just a few weeks ago.

On the other side of the lens, Kaspars has shot countless pictures for One magazine & Be-Mag, organized the full Pazust Latgalē tour and won awards with the subsequent documentary he produced. His work has been featured in many national & international publications, and it is a pleasure to see him evolve in new areas as his talent continues to grow & develop!

We caught with Kaspars, as he now embarks on an exciting new adventure: he just moved to Amsterdam for a month-long project, far from the blading world. We can’t wait to see the result, and what his incredibly positive outlook will bring to the table! In the meantime, let’s take a look at the bag of the man who brought you countless Live Updates from the road!
