The Tranquilo story starts last year when I came up with an idea to move to Barcelona. I had one clear vision in my mind: Drink my cafe con leche in the morning, smoke one, skate on the best spots and don’t bother about any other bullshit. When I told Eryk (Pilch) about it he immediately said that he’s in. A few weeks later we had 2 more guys on board (Krystian Rangotis and Adam Olejniczak) and we were ready to rent the apartment. In February right after Winterclash we moved to Barcelona and stayed there for 2 months just blading and chilling everyday. So many bladers visited us that our place became a real bladecrib and crazy things started to happen.
Despite having some technical problems like breaking a lens (we did it in second week of our stay) or having to borrow a camera every few days we managed to get plenty of footage. Finally we got a 20 minutes long VOD consisting of 3 main parts : Bartek Malec, Eryk Pilch, Krystian Zarzeczny and a friends section featuring some of the best Polish and local riders like Tomek Przybylik, Patryk Pilch,Yuri Botelho, Michael Prado and many more.
You might ask “Why the name Tranquilo” ? It means “calm down” in Spanish and that’s what we said to furious Spanish people trying to kick us out from the spots ( it made them even more crazy). This is our first big project and we are releasing it as a VOD with hope to raise some money to buy a new camera and keep filming.
