So the Festival starts. Yet you still run into that beloved container of yours to try and keep the world updated with the latest Roskilde news. Luckily, photographer Kaspars Alksnis is doing an amazing job behind the camera, because mentionning short nights and hungover mornings isn’t exactly news at this point. At least there are some great pictures to look at while you try to reminisce the details of yet another day in paradise!

Another day, unlike any other day. Today the actual festival site opens its doors to the 130.000 campers that have been warming up all week under the hot Danish sun, and they all run in to be at the Orange stage first. After relaxing in the shade for a while and getting some food, everyone is now ready to hear Danish act The Minds of 99 open Orange. That is just the first concert of the day, and what a great one that was already!
The best part about Roskilde is that every pick is a lucky pick: you might have never heard of a band before, but you are always garanteed a great time. And a great time it was again with King Gizzard & the Wizard Lizard on the Pavilion stage! After cruising through the crowd of happy people dancing to Pharell Williams‘ tunes, you end the day with another perfect moment as The War on Drugs take away the Arena stage, smiling so much that your face hurts.
