During his short pro career in the 1996-2000 era, Neil Semar was one of rollerblading’s royalty, a highly influential young skater, defining the standards of the time, with pro endorsements from companies like Medium and Pawn. Amongst other publications, he was featured in Daily Bread issue 24, one of the most sought after and hardest to find issues of the magazine. The news of his passing hit the blading community hard. Rest in peace, Neil. To celebrate his life and impact on rollerblading, we’re posting his 1997 Medium – Film of the year section.
