From the room I´m writing now, I can hear a crappy electro remix of the Beatles. I can also watch the FISE Area crew try to dry up their infamous spine ramp as the rain has now interrupted the BMX qualifiers. While we wait until the contest starts over again, let us tell you how our second day in Andorra went.

The FISE has treated their riders, staff and guests better than ever before. In addition to staying in a 4 star hotel, our rooms are all facing the site of the event, and through the open window the speakers are blasting out loud. What could actually be better than watch the BMXers go nuts on the ramp while being comfortably set, chilling in our room, as our stock of beer decreases a bit too quickly?
We got lucky when it came to the rain, though. In spite of a collision, which left both Stephen Swain and Nick Lomax with bruised ankles, the weather was good enough to let the blade event unfold with no bad surprise. With some of the best park skaters competing against the best street skaters in the world, the finals tomorrow promise to be really interesting.
Of course, we will keep you posted. Until then, enjoy Dominik Wagner´s pictures while we enjoy the beers we´ve left. Salud!
