WAY MO BY TUSK

Our good friends the Allinson brothers of Tusk have just dropped their newest full-length video titled “Way Mo” which features skating from some of the South’s finest bladers. The video features Julian Bah, Ray Kronenberg, Matty Schrock, Chris Smith, Rob Thompson, Cameron Martin, Julian Mire, Zach Leavell, Stephen Anderson, Chandler Cross, Scott Keightley, Nick Gunter, Andrew Leverton, Tyler Knight, Jon Allinson, Juan Espinosa, Eric Larson, Wild Bill, Bon Allinson, Luis Corrales, Serg Munoz, and Steve Doyle.

“Way Mo” creator Jon Allinson had this to say about the making of the video.

In a future filled with self-driving cars, robot delivery services, and phone cameras capable of instant skate clips, the idea of sitting on footage and taking your time can seem archaic. Yet we continue to do it to. We believe in the art!

In an ever evolving landscape, the full length video is a time capsule that the phone cannot preserve.

Filming for Way Mo began at the end of 2024, right after wrapping up Southland. What started as a small project quickly grew into a full year of traveling and exploring the analog environment. In a world that demands constant plug-in and instant delivery, street skating and filming remain a mindful act.

Getting the perfect shot. Sticking the perfect landing. Hyping the homies. Traveling to places you’ve never been, always hunting for the right spot to make the magic happen.

We’re forever grateful to have real ones in our orbit. Documenting their process and pushing a shared vision. Another one for the culture!
