PLASTIC PUSHERS 6

Cavin Brinkman has just released the highly anticipated sixth edition of his popular Plastic Pushers video series, and this is easily his best release so far! Plastic Pushers 6 features incredible profiles from Austin Paz, Clement Boucau, Adam Szymanski, Louise Looije, Niels Groenendijk, Gilles Buelens, Till Zimmer, and Mick Casals

Starting out the video with an established professional like Austin Paz was an amazing way to set the tone for the video. I knew that Austin was going to bring the heat, but I certainly was not expecting the fresh new bag of trick combinations that the PZA came up with. He is skating better than he ever has, and he continues to innovate and push the envelope with a style all his own. His profile is a shoo-in for a nomination for “Profile of the Year” (so far), and the rest of the industry has its work cut out for them to try to one-up Mr. Paz.

Clement Boucau comes through with a short but oh-so-sweet profile, which shows the OG skating at a fast-pace and laces his tricks with a ton of style and finesse. The musical choice fit his skating perfectly, and the timing was on point, as always.

Plastic Pushers always has a consistent stream of noteworthy “Friends” appearances, and the sixth installment is no different! The montage videos spread throughout the video are incredibly light-hearted and thoroughly entertaining, and feature a who’s-who of some of Europe’s best bladers.

Next in line is the talented Ms. Louise Looije, a young bladie that I had never heard of previously, but I am thoroughly impressed with. She shows a ton of charisma and a solid style for a young skater, and has a decent trick vocabulary going for her. I REALLY hope to see more from her because she has a ton of potential!

Next up is the bearded beast Adam Szymanski, who is another highly underrated blader who always comes correct with killer appearances, and his profile is as proper as they come. No clips are sloppy. Every clip is laced with relative ease, it seems, and Adam makes it look soooo good in the process.

Next up is none other than Plastic Pushers Capo and all-around solid mofo, Mr. Cavin Brinkman, paired alongside the impressive Niels Groenendijk. The duo has their own unique styles and trick selections, but their skating complemented each other well, like the old wrestling tag team The Towers of Power! Cavin pulled out some surprising moves that I didn’t know he had in his bag, and Niels came up with some clever cess slides, and improvisational moves that were really dope!

Toward the middle of the video there were two more friends montages, the first one which started with some wild clips of the IQON pro team of Jaro Frijn, Lauric Picard, Leonardo Mansano, and a handful of other memorable appearances from Bastian Thuring, Jeroen Wullems, Antony Pottier, and Levi Van Rijn to keep that high energy going. The second montage shows some sunny clips down in Florida, which feature the blading icon Franky Morales skating alongside the stunt-seeker Zack Pollak, and some cameos from the infamous Jumbo crew of Caleb Benavides, Heath Burley, and Cody Sanders, as well as some skating from NYC staples such as J.P Primiano of Butter TV, Joey Scannela, Andy Feliciano, and Ariel Surun.

Gilles Buellens is a skater who has been on fire the last few years. He is regularly placing on top of the winners podium in numerous skating events throughout Europe, and making quite a name for himself with solid appearances in several previous Pushers releases, so I was super hyped to see a full profile from Gilles. His profile is powerful and filled with a ton of super sketchy spots that he handles like it’s child’s play. Gilles has quickly become one of blading’s most entertaining amateurs, and we really hope some major skating brands start taking notice of this gentleman, because he is a force to be reckoned with!

The next profile lined up was from the talented Till Zimmer. Till is a skater who has a huge trick vocab, which he flexes in some seriously difficult connections and on some very intimidating obstacles. His ender clip is easily one of my personal favorite clips from the whole video, and he laced it with textbook perfection. I probably rewatched it at least 10 times in a row in amazement. When you see it, you’ll know what I am talking about.

Mick Casals profile is the next up, and if you know Mick’s skating, you know to expect the unexpected! His skating is never predictable, and his approach to his tricks is unlike any other skater in our community. And this isn’t anything new for Mick either. Having skated with him for a very long time, Mick has ALWAYS been one who thinks outside the box, and comes up with an unconventional way to attack a skate spot. And his profile is an absolute banger from beginning to end, and a fitting choice to conclude such a classic video. Plastic Pushers 6 delivered the goods in a big way and lived up to all the hype and excitement! Cavin, you outdid yourself once again, and I commend you for another amazing edition done. Cheers, brother!
