To be heavily involved in blading you have to admit to being at least a slight bit off your rocker. Most level-headed individuals don’t put their bodies through living hell to achieve a brief moment of sheer bliss that a trick accomplishment can give, so a skate video titled Crazy Pills is actually quite reflective and accurate for our somewhat masochistic culture.
The video starts out with one of my personal favorite intro sections with cuts of The Talking Head’s legendary live 1983 performance of “Life During Wartime“. Seeing David Byrne’s gyrating hips perfectly spliced into a skate video was brilliant and shows further proof that Ian Walker is incapable of making a bad skate video. Ian stands as one of blading’s most consistently entertaining videographers and Crazy Pills definitely brings the hype and shows genuine and not forced personality while also presenting blading at its very best. And although the full video is available on Youtube now, we HIGHLY SUGGEST you download the full video for a donation of your choice and pick up a sweet Crazy Pills tee created by Jeremy Spira or magazine which was designed by the immensely talented Jordan Smith, or both!
