They had this to say about the creative process behind the project.“We’ve been making skate videos in Atlanta since 2020. After a handful of shorts and three full-length videos under our belts, Julian approached us about working on something together.We’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the best skaters in the South and beyond, but Julian was challenging in a different way. He had a lot of opinions, a lot of ideas, and he wasn’t going to take no for an answer. That stubbornness became part of the process. You can see it in his skating, too. He had something to prove.It quickly became clear that this needed to be more than a section tacked onto one of our homie videos. Julian had a vision for what he wanted to make, and he needed people he could trust to see it through. He needed his own video.Julian has had some legendary sections over the years, but it has been a while since he’d put something out that really showcases the raw talent he possesses. There was a gap between the skating we knew he was capable of and what people had seen from him.We wanted to make something that closed that gap. Something that gave his skating the space and attention it deserved.
