The Community Cup Invitational rollerblading video-edit competition has just wrapped up and the expert panel of judges made their decisions, and after computing all your votes, the winners have been announced!
The video competition pitted some of inline skating’s biggest stars against one another in an action-packed, stunt-filled video competition that brought out the best from Julien Cudot, Nils Jansons, Seba Seufferheld, Bobi Spassov, and Levi Van Rijn. Each skater brought their own unique take on their video submissions, and the overall results were nothing short of mind-blowing! And although the old Highlander series is famous for saying “There can be only one!”, there are actually two winners announced: the fan favorite vote and the judges’ panel vote, each of which allowed each skater to win.
The judges’ panel, which consisted of industry professionals and renowned videographers Eugen Enin, Blake Bird, Karsten Boysen, Ryan Parker, and Cameron Talbott, awarded none other than Mesmer pro rider Levi Van Rijn the winner of their “Judges Panel” vote. Levi’s video submission was filled with some highly technical switch-ups, huge gaps, and he displayed a very creative approach to the very rugged and difficult spots he chose to skate. The judges did an excellent choice in their pick, and we applaud Levi on his much-deserved “Judge’s Panel” win!
And onto the winner of the “Fan Favorite” vote, which goes to Roces pro rider Bobi Spassov! Bobi’s profile had it all: a perfect balance of style, creativity, and difficulty, with incredible cinematography that was edited with a hard-hitting build-up and climax with one of the biggest enders we have seen in years! Kudos to Bobi for once again setting the bar incredibly high with a timeless video and another win to add to his prestigious resume.
