The Community Cup Invitational rollerblading video-edit competition has kicked off into high gear and the first entry is none other than Nils Jansons! Nils Jansons has a great history in rollerblading video edit competitions: he won the WRS fan favorite vote in 2011 and 2012. But never quite got the judge’s nod for some reason. Where will he place this time?
This competition is driven by the inline skating community for the culture. You nominated the skaters, you’ll vote for the winners and you’re building the prize fund. 50% of what’s raised will be split equally between the skaters as a base rate for taking part – So they are getting paid for their efforts, which I think is a first for a rollerblading competition. The other 50% will be awarded to the Community winners 1st, 2nd, 3rd, voted for by you and the expert winner, selected by a panel.
