Sam Crofts has just dropped the promo video for his newest Aeon skate from USD, the Camoscio 1.V. The footage was filmed on the rugged and unforgiving streets of London, England, by the talented Connor Pearce, who highlighted the handsome new boots perfectly to Sam’s dynamic skating. Sam and USD made quite a bit of improvements to the new Aeon model, as mentioned by the U.K legend below.
“For my latest pro skate from USD I wanted to bring some much needed updates to the current Aeon whilst we all wait patiently for the Aeon 2.0. The Crofty 1.V now has an extra 5% glass fibre reinforcement in the unibody shell/soul plate for faster grinds and an improved responsiveness. We’re also proud to add the brand new and perfectly fitting generation three Aeon cuffs and Kizer memory buckles. This skate also comes with a premium full grain real suede skin, for maximum durability and a classic Crofty Aeon aesthetic, in a soft camoscio brown colour way inspired by the 2013 Eisler carbon frees. Under the skin, the shell is now recessed down lower to beneath the eyelet level to create a semi-soft top, wrap-around feel across the bridge of your foot, giving a more personalised fit for increased comfort on longer sessions. Inside the shell we have a suede topped MyFit Second Skin liner, with an Eisler inspired suede tongue cover and thick MyFit recall innersoles for instant out the box comfort. We complete the skate with our standard USD 60mm UHR urethane wheels and Wicked abec 9 bearings, plus top quality brown waxed laces and an additional set of waxed classic black with white flecks hockey laces in the box. The first 20 sets sold via the USD website will also receive a free set of matching Pómulo socks” – Sam Crofts.
