Anyone who knows anything about rollerblading is already familiar with Philadelphia’s first family of rollerblading: The Kelsos. Throughout the past ten years they have gradually established a respect that has made their name a celebrated institution within the culture of rollerblading. What you may not know is that Sean and Colin have been contributing footage to some of the most celebrated filmmakers in our industry for years. You have no doubt unwittingly observed their clips in the works of Joe Navran, Dave Paine, Adam Johnson, Chris Majette and many more.
Now, for the first time, you will witness a video that not only displays the Kelso’s incredible ability in front of the lens, but their keen eye for superb angles behind it. If this wasn’t enough to make you nervous with excitement, their creative filming will be blended together by one of rollerblading’s hottest new talents: Austin Paz.
Together, Brotherly Love™ and Austin Paz have filmed and produced an incredible collection of images that encompasses what they believe rollerblading is, and more importantly, where it is going. Their brainchild will feature sections from the finest specimens New York and Philadelphia have to offer. Expect nothing short of jaw-dropping finesse from Chris Cheshire, mind blowing stunts from Franco Cammayo and speechless perfection from New York’s golden child of rollerblading: Billy O’Neil. Just to put the icing on the cake, you will also witness full sections from Sean Kelso, Colin Kelso and of course, Austin Paz.
On January 6th 2008, The Truth Release Party will take place in Scotland at one of the most respected live venues in the country; The 13th Note Café. This will not only mark the highly anticipated releases of the next movement in skate media, it will also be the first in a series of skate video parties scheduled to take place around Scotland in 2008. Expect live bands, floor shaking DJ sets and of course, one of the hottest DVD releases in rollerblading. The event will be sponsored by the UK’s only standing publication, Kingdom Magazine, so make sure you are there to see what all the hype is about.
