Present yourself:Hey what's up people, my name is Jamie Stenner and I'm from a small seaside town in the south coast of England called Bognor Regis. A place where the sun fails to shine, that's (almost) famous for a grotty holiday camp called Butlins and a TV show called Bognor or Bust - where if you lose you get sent here for a week, amazing!
The average person my age from boogie down goes to the pub's / clubs every night, gets fuct up, talks shit and starts fights for no reason or has been / is behind bars.

I've been skating for the last 12 years, i skate with my girl friend and skateboarders + BMXers at a small local park usually. Plus try to travel as much as i can on weekends. I also run our family owned skate-shop - ESP, which was established in 1995 and is where i spend the majority of my time each week. Check us out at www.myspace.com/espshop or come in and see us the next time your in Chichester, England.
What set up are you skating right now and what do you like best about it?I got a pair of the Razor Aragon 2's the day they arrived in ESP. I also got some of the Ground Control F1 flat frames which I'm using with the Murda One wheels and bearings which the skates came with. Took me a couple of days of sore toes to soften them up and i also widened the backslide groove to make then lock into unity / savannah variation better. The pre-groove that they come with is almost to perfect for backslides, feels like you can't get out of it. A few minor adjustments to make them perfect for me and now their golden, i like the way they look and skate, particularly the way they smoothly flow around in switch ups.
Jamie Stenner - FlatspinHow was the Chaz Invite?Chaz invite was sick, there seems to be fewer opportunities to catch up with all the roller heads now-a-days - so it's always a gunna be good when everyone comes together to catch up and have a session.
The big thing that made Chaz's event special was the attendance of the worlds top pro's - I'm sure that for most peeps that was one of the only chances to see the likes of Haffey, Aragon, Murda and Wagner skate in the flesh this year. That also helped add to the atmosphere of the event.
Another big factor that makes the Chaz Invite so amazing is the skate-park it's help at, Unit 23 in Dumbarton, Scotland is beyond good! Check it out for yourselves at www.unit23skatepark.com. It literally has everything, from the best rail / ledge set up ever, a monster new bowl complex, good flowing street course, foam pit / trampoline room and a cafe where you can chill and watch Family Guy on a big screen. What more could you actually ask for?
How much did the win take out of your body?Me and my girl went up to stay at our new home from home with Brook and Ali in Scotland from the Thursday - Monday. I took a few falls on the Friday night, so come the comp on the Saturday i was already feeling sore - it took a fair amount of tiger balm to loosen up my body to be able to skate, that shit cleared my cold too! All i did in my first heat was fall - which didn't help things, but when it came to the finals i managed to put shit together. I remember during the jam session hearing Critch ( the events MC ) say 'the only other person to flow around the park like Jamie Stenner was Chaz Sands' , which was shocking to hear, but means a lot to me. (no one else though I'm sure so sorry to bore you with that bit) Pretty much the last trick of the jam i came in off the new sub box only to colide with Keir and then the landing of the launch box, which took me out of the equation. Got my face, wrist, elbow, hip and all that jazz, so no skate for the next week or so.
The next morning i remember thinking to myself I'm getting to old for this shit - hahaha
Jamie Stenner - Ture TopacidDid you enjoy the whole comp?Me and my girl always love it when we go to Scotland, it's a sad day when we've gotta come home!
Scotland's got everything, some of the best people in the world, one of the best skate-parks in the world, tatta scones ( a bit like hash brown but way better ) and an excuse for every rollerblader on the planet to go at least once a year - The Chaz Invite!
If you haven't made it to either of the first two - don't miss the third.
Fucking amazing, nuff said!
What kinda clothing style are you into and what's your favorite items?Oh damn, the whole tight / baggy debate again, whens this gunna get old?
For me style is something that comes from within you, it's not what you wear more how you wear it. Function is key, you won't see me with loads of accessories like bandana's, rings and big buckle belts 'coz i think they hinder your manouvreability and therefore hinder your skating.
I'm someone who appreciates good quality clothing and like companies attention to detail, garments that are designed with skating in mind always feel better as they are the right cut /fit wheather tight or baggy. I feel more comfortable in loose fitting clothing and usually rock some baggy slacks with a baggy T-shirt skating, i do wear slightly more fitted clothing when I'm not skating, for example i wear a XL T-shirt when skating but a L when chillin or going out.
I'm well into what the peepz over at [B] unique, Ucon and Franco are doing. My favorite item's are all from the above brands including my Ucon socks and boxers - pimpin!
Jamie Stenner - FishyCan you tell us your top 10 music artists?Top 10 music artists is difficult, they have to be classics to be in my all time top 10. Although I'm into the Kanye's and Winehouse's of right now, not sure if I'll be bumpin them by the end of the year - who knows?
