Be-mag Issue 23: Jeff Stockwell - 08/04/03
This is a little excerpt of the Jeff Stockwell interview in Be-mag Issue 23. If you like this you can download the whole thing to your computer.
BM: Explain what’s happening right now.
JS: Yesterday we drove eleven hours to Kansas just to get one picture, so that was kind of interesting. We timed it perfectly where we got the picture about five seconds before it started raining. The weather is like nothing I’ve ever seen before, it’s so cold it’s not even funny. I can barely think. Its not like California, that’s for damn sure.
BM: So why would you want to come to shoot out here rather than San Diego?
JS: Because I’m sick of California. Nobody rollerblades anymore, it’s really upsetting. That’s the truth.
BM: Nobody rollerblades in California?
JS: I’ve been trying to get Jon Elliot to come skating with me, and its working, so that’s pretty cool. I’ll be the first one to announce that he did a front torque down a 17 stair handrail, grabbed. I’m pretty excited about it… and you guys should be too.

Whoa! See this is what I like about the snow, you can just drift all over the place. Like Jeromy [Morris] was driving in his car, pulling the e-brake everywhere.
