Tyron Ballantine made a name for himself when he won the 2006 Winterclash amateur contest after a memorable head2head battle. Quickly after, he got added to the Valo team, went on tour with them and got featured in their 2007 team video. From there it got a bit quiet around him and the chances to see him skate became rare. He didn’t like competing anymore and one can count Tyron’s video parts on one hand. But still his name got stuck in people’s minds and every once in a while he came back with a bang. Picking up Razors as a new sponsor or going on tour for Adrien Anne’s Anonyme DVD are just some examples.
